What is my old front wheel doesn't have a quick release?

No worries! If you're old wheel uses lock nuts, the assembly process remains the same except for removing your existing wheel.

For axel's with lock nuts, you'll need to use a wrench to twist the nuts counter clockwise to loosen. After a quick turn, you should be able to hand twist the nuts off. Once your rim brakes are loose, you should be able to remove your front wheel without issue.

Important: When replacing your electron wheel with your bike's traditional wheel, be sure that the quick release, or lock nuts, are securely fastened! Failing to do so can result in serious injury.
